Participation in the Golden Elks Pop Warner Spirit Program provides kids an opportunity to perform in an organized, supervised, safety-oriented environment. GEPW programs emphasize fun for all and encourage the development of qualities important long after Pop Warner days are gone. Through this active participation, Pop Warner programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that young people will use throughout their lives. GEPW seeks to provide fun athletic learning opportunities for children, while emphasizing the importance of academic success. Specifically, GEPW seeks to familiarize spirit participants with the fundamentals of cheerleading and dance. GEPW strives to inspire youth, regardless of race, creed or national origin, to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship and physical fitness as reflected in the life of the late Glenn Scobie “Pop” Warner. Objectives To ensure a fun, safe and positive playing environment for all participants. Positive Experiences Pop Warner programs have no tryouts or cutting of rostered participants.
